Standard Program

The contract can be signed from 32nd week of pregnancy after approval of your doctor of choice. Prior to signing the contract the following procedures are required: consultation of OBGYN and ultrasound.

*The Program includes in-patient care in the NICU (up to 300 hours) and/or in the special care nursery for newborns (up to 15 days), in case of singleton pregnancy, when baby is delivered at 37 weeks+ gestation age (on medical grounds and if proscribed by the OBGYN).

List of Medical Services included in Labor & Delivery

  1. In-patient medical care in the intensive care unit up to 72 hours. Laboratory and functional tests are included during the first 12 hours of stay in the intensive care unit.
  2. Breastfeeding support provided by a postpartum unit midwife.
  3. Lab and functional testing during in-patient care: 1 clinical blood analysis; 1 comprehensive standard hemostasis examination; 1 general urinalysis; 1 pelvic ultrasound; 1 breast ultrasound, or 1 thyroid ultrasound, or 1 urinary system ultrasound; 1 duplex angioscaning of the upper/lower extremities.
  4. One theme of the main course in the School for Moms within 56 days after delivery.
  5. Hep B and tuberculosis vaccination for newborn(s) (in absence of counter-indications and with the patient’s consent).
  6. Out-patient examination by an OBGYN and conduction of pelvic organs ultrasound within 56 days after delivery.
  7. Up to two examinations-consultations of doctors in the postpartum department (in addition to the attending physician).
  8. In-patient care in the NICU (up to 300 hours) and/or in the special care nursery for newborns (up to 15 days), in case of singleton pregnancy, when baby is delivered at 37 weeks+ gestation age (Standard Maximum only).
  9. In case of medical necessity: hospitalization on the eve of the expected cesarean operation / delivery (after 6 p.m.).
  10. Administration of pain medication during labor and delivery on medical grounds and with patient’s consent.
  11. Autologous blood sampling, hardware reinfusion of autologous red blood cells (in case of medical necessity, OBGYN group 4 only).
  12. Conduction of histological examination of the placenta and/or post-surgery material (OBGYN group 4 only).
  13. Delivery in complicated pregnancy (placenta previa, placenta accreta, HIV infection).
